The goal of any KM system lies in innovation horizon

There are three horizons, I don’t know whose classification it is. But it is logically sound and safe to say that it should work.

  • Processes
    • Lowest innovations start on this level, where we tweak the processes of the company.
  • New ventures
    • On this level, the goal of innovation is to seek new markets and expand existing business.
  • Disruptive level
    • Look for ways to destroy the status quo, disrupt your own business to expand it and enter new unknown levels.
      • Kodak and Nokia failed, They operated on two previous levels. So when a new market emerged, they couldn’t adapt. Panam BTW had met the same fate.
